All About Me

My name is Hollie Spence and I am the owner of HS Veterinary Physiotherapy.
I have my own four horses, two German Shepherds and two cats. I spent my childhood surrounded by animals from rabbits to ponies and have always had a great love for all animals. My passion for a career in Veterinary Physiotherapy began with my own horse, Roo who has struggled with navicular syndrome and arthritis from a young age.
Before gaining my PgDip in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the University of Nottingham, I studied at both Askham Bryan and Bishop Burton College gaining valuable knowledge with horses, dogs and other species. I am currently furthering my knowledge base by undertaking a level 4 course in Small Animal Hydrotherapy.
Alongside my studies over the past several years, I have worked hard to gain a vast array of industry experience from volunteering in veterinary practices and rescue centres to working on racing, stud and livery yards.
It has been my lifelong dream to become a vet physio and I love every second of my time with clients. I strive to continue buidling my knowledge base to keep up to date with current research and be the best I can be!
As a mum of two young boys, between them and the business I don't get much spare time but when I do its either spent with the horses or finding new walks to go on with our dogs!
