Canine Physiotherapy
We offer canine physiotherapy over two different clinics in South Yorkshire and also mobile within a 30 mile radius of Selby.
Equine Physiotherapy
Equine physiotherapy services are mobile within a 30 mile radius of Selby, appointments out of area are available at an increased rate
Small Animal Physiotherapy
Small animals such as cats and rabbits can also benefit from physiotherapy, this can be either clinic based or mobile.
Initial Assessments
Every new clients first appointment will be an initial assessment, this enables us to gain knowledge of the animals history, complete a gait assessment, thorough palpation of tissue and joints, and in-depth discussion with the owner and then carry out relevant treatment.
Manual Therapies
A range of manual therapies can be utilised during an appointment. Different massage techniques along with stretching can be used to increase blood flow, relieve tension within tissue, increase mobilisation and increase range of motion.
Electrotherapies
We can utilise Laser Therapy and Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy (PMFT), to compliment manual therapy where appropriate. In some cases, where manual therapy may not be suitable due to temperament, electrotherapy can still help.
Exercise therapy
As part of each session appropriate exercises will be performed with your pet with the aim of increasing functionality of the musculoskeletal system. Some of these exercises may also be prescribed to you to continue between appointments.
